Biography
Based in Vermont, Laura exhibits across the region as well as in New York, and Santa Fe. She has spent many years studying art, art history, and the creative process. She is invested in continuing to learn as much about art as possible and sharing that with others through her artwork.
Her passion is painting, and she worked for many years in oils and water based media. Now she primarily works on wood panels with encaustic and mixed media. Her work ranges in size, and many paintings are smaller pieces intended for reflection and reverie. With so much distraction and digital noise in the world, quiet contemplation can bring peace, clarity, and beauty.
Laura has a BA from the University of Massachusetts and an MLIS from the University of Rhode Island. Her work is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Encaustic Art. See more of her work here: https://lauragraveline.omeka.net/ Find all her links on Linktree
